You might think that George shot a pistol. George customized his 1377 into a rifle with an 18 inch barrel. The top velocity he uses in 660 fps. He downed a target at 50 yards and in his words, "Ha! You can count to 3 before the hit and to 2 before it completely falls".
Ray carter shot his unmodified RWS 850 for the first time in a match. His RWS 52 was sick at the time, but Ray has nursed it back to health by the time of this writing.
Ash shot his Daystate (very nice wood, if you are that traditional) and Ron his Air Arms ("Oh, it is 19.something, just under 20fpe").
The next rifle match is August 15th. Ash suggested that we show up at 7:00 AM to clear the lanes of grass and weeds. I'll see you there at 7:00 AM.
